Installing AFNI on Windows(윈도우10에 AFNI 설치하기)

다음 지시사항을 순서대로 따라주세요

1. 선행 단계

   • 윈도우가 2004 버젼으로 업데이트 되어있는가?

   • Linux Subsystem이 잘 깔려있는가?

   • 윈도우에 우분투가 깔려있는가?(듀얼부티 말구요)
     그리고 위의 선행사항들은 여기(before Docker part)에 잘 정리되어 있습니다.

   • X server for Windows가 잘 깔려있는가?

2. github('Install AFNI enviornment' part only)를 따라주세요.
   wsl2 터미널에서 진행해주세요(NOT powershell or anaconda...)

   git clone https://github.com/aaroneg/Install-AFNI-on-Ubuntu-on-Windows
   cd Install-AFNI-on-Ubuntu-on-Windows # tab 쓰면 자동완성됩니다.
   
   sh ./initializeEnvironment.sh
   # restart wsl or source ~/.bashrc
   
   cd Install-AFNI-on-Ubuntu-on-Windows
   
   sh ./installR.sh
   sh ./createAfniProfiles.sh # <- 저의 경우 40분 정도 잡아먹었습니다.

3. Open AFNI

   • X-server를 먼저 켜세요. 항상!
   • wsl에서 afni를 쳐서 들어갑니다.

4. 문제가 있나용?

• 힘내세요. 제가 못도와드려요 🔥
• 너무 안되면 그냥 Ubuntu-18.04 or LESS(NOT 20.04... unstable) 듀얼부팅하세요.

⚠️ Please notice I cannot guarantee your computer's safety since chemistry between wsl, ubuntu + windows is crazy. Try dual-booting otherwise...

Follow the steps in order

1. Prerequisites

   • Windows updated to 2004
   • Linux Subsystem installed
   • Ubuntu on Windows

   the above 3 steps explained in the link(before Docker part)

   • X server for Windows

2. Follow github('Install AFNI enviornment' part only)
   on the terminal of wsl2(NOT powershell or anaconda...)

   git clone https://github.com/aaroneg/Install-AFNI-on-Ubuntu-on-Windows
   cd Install-AFNI-on-Ubuntu-on-Windows # use tab button for autofill
   
   sh ./initializeEnvironment.sh
   # restart wsl or source ~/.bashrc
   
   cd Install-AFNI-on-Ubuntu-on-Windows
   
   sh ./installR.sh
   sh ./createAfniProfiles.sh # <- this will kill your time... in my case about 40min

3. Open AFNI

   • Turn on X server first(always)
   • type afni on wsl

4. Troubles?

   • Sorry... No idea... Cheer up... 🔥
   • Try dual-booting Ubuntu if possible and use Ubuntu-18.04 or LESS(NOT 20.04... unstable)
