Cannot Verify Server Identity imap.gmail
If IMAP (the Gmail technology you use to send mail to your device) is disabled, Gmail may not work on your device. If IMAP is disabled on Gmail.com, you will not be able to access your email account from the server.
Since the iPad or iPhone cannot provide details about the failed login, accessing the Gmail website may be helpful. If possible, use a computer (Gmail is easier to navigate with a larger screen).
Open Chrome, Safari or any other internet browser, sign in to Gmail.com and enter your password and email address.
If you are using an iPhone, a pop-up window may appear asking you to download an app, but now is not the time. Look for the little link below called "Gmail for Mobile Site".
When you sign in to your account, check an email or alert box, such as "Someone stole your password" or "Gmail blocked your login attempt". If you see an e-mail or box like this, check the link in the "It's me" heading or the "Check your devices now" link or similar language.these are some of the solutions to resolve Cannot Verify Server Identity imap.gmail issue
