The weaving time is approximately between 4 to 18 months.

Radhey Rathi was associated with his family textile business till 1994. He used to handle the exports of his textile business. But due to temperamental reasons, he left his family business and moved to the US. While working there, he saw that there was a huge demand for carpets in the market, and then he found out about a business project.

Without wasting time, he stepped into the industry and started looking for new opportunities. He established the carpet manufacturing and selling business in 1996 and named it Carpet India. At first, the company started trading carpets abroad, but it eventually moved into carpet manufacturing.

In 2000, Radhey Rathi's younger brother Monty Rathi joined the business as the COO of the carpet group and then both the brothers moved from the US to Mumbai.

According to Radhey, the specialty of Indian Carpets is that it makes full use of technology in the traditional business. The company has specialized in making handmade and machine-made carpets using various techniques.

Carpet India's network is spread across more than 50 countries, including the US, the UK, Brazil and Canada. The company claims to ship 95% of its orders within 48 hours. The company's carpets can also be seen in many large luxury hotel chains like Hilton, Marriott International and Hyatt through its distribution channels in the US.
