[ERROR] error: Microsoft Visual C++ 14.0 or greater is required.

PROBLEM

I was trying to install scrapy with pip install scrapy but then I met with the error saying:

SOLUTION

I did as what was suggested in the error itself. I went to the following website: https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/visual-cpp-build-tools/ and downloaded the 'build tools'.

And then I just downloaded the basic ones selected as shown:

After rebooting my computer, I tried installing the python library once more, and it worked perfectly fine (YAY).
