트러블 슈팅
객체 지향 설계와 클래스 분리의 어려움
프로젝트를 진행하면서 제일 어려웠던 부분은 코딩을 하는 첫 시점이었다.
어떻게 구조를 설계할지, 하나의 클래스가 어떤 역할을 해야하는지 등을 고민하는 것에 시간이 많이 소요되었다.
CommerceSystem클래스에서 너무 많은 기능을 구현하다 보니, switch문과 for문이 너무 많아져서 가독성이 크게 떨어졌다.
자잘한 코딩 실수도 많이 발생하였다.
예시로, 상품의 수정 및 삭제 기능을 수행할때, 3개의 category를 순환하면서 입력한 상품 이름과 일치하는 상품을 찾는 기능을 작성하였다.
그 과정에서 i번째 category의 j번째 product를 찾아야 하는데 i와 j를 혼동하는 실수등이 발생하였다.
또한, switch문과 for문 nextInt()와 nextLine()의 남발로 인하여, scanner의 입력값이 제대로 입력받지 못하거나, break문이 제대로 걸리지 않아 fall-through가 발생하는 등의 문제도 일어났다.
느낀점
이번 프로젝트를 통하여 단순히 메서드를 구현하는 것보다, 객체지향적인 설계를 하는것이 훨씬 중요하다는 것을 느꼈다. 내가 작성한 코드를 보며 가독성이 떨어지고, 유지보수가 힘들다는 느낌을 받았고, 실무에서 객체지향 설계를 지향해야 하는 이유를 느꼈다.
앞으로 프로젝트를 만들때, 기능을 구현하기 전에 각 클래스가 어떤 책임을 가져야 하는지를 먼저 생각하는 습관을 가져야 겠다고 생각했다. 또한, 계속 중복되는 반복문과 조건문을 어떻게 처리해야 할지에 대한 학습의 필요성을 깨달았다.
