로마서 8장 31-39 절

31

그렇다면 이런 일에 대하여 우리가 무슨 말을 하리요? 하나님께서 우리를 위하신다면 누가 우리를 대적하리요?

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

32

자기 아들을 아끼지 아니하시고 우리 모든 사람을 위하여 내어주신 분이 어찌 그 아들과 함께 또한 모든 것을 우리에게 값없이 주시지 아니하겠느냐?

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

하나님께서 택하신 자들에게 누가 혐의를 씌우리요? 의롭다 하시는 분은 하나님이시니라.

Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth.

34

누가 정죄하리요? 죽었다가 다시 살아나신 분은 그리스도시라. 그분은 또한 하나님의 오른편에 계셔서 우리를 위하여 중보하시느니라.

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

누가 우리를 그리스도의 사랑에서 떼어 놓을 수 있으리요? 환난이나 곤경이나 박해나 기근이나 헐벗음이나 위험이나 칼이랴?

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

기록된 바와 같으니 “우리가 주를 위하여 온종일 죽임을 당하였으며 도살당할 양으로 여김을 받았나이다.”라고 하였느니라.

As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

그러나 이 모든 일에서 우리를 사랑하시는 그분으로 말미암아 우리가 이기는 자들보다 더 나으니라.

Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38

내가 확신하노니 사망이나 생명이나, 천사들이나 정사들이나 권세들이나 현재의 일들이나 다가올 일들이나,

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39

높음이나 깊음이나, 어떤 다른 피조물이라도 우리를 그리스도 예수 우리 주 안에 있는 하나님의 사랑에서 떼어 놓을 수 없으리라.

Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
