1. Server/Client 기반의 동작

• AAA(Authenticaiton, Authorization, Accounting) 을 제공하는 네트워킹 프로토콜.

• Authentication & Authorization는 1812/udp 포트를 이용하고 RFC 2138에 따름

• Accounting은 1813/udp 포트를 이용하고, RFC 2139에 따름

• Attributes는 요청과 응답을 위한 특정 정보 및 설정값을 포함

  • 표현형식 : TLV(Type-Length-Value)

    • 1: User Name

    • 79: EAP Message

    • 80 : EAP Message Authenticator
