New Spring Legacy Project를 Spring MVC Project 템플릿을 사용해 생성하려고 할때 다음과 같은 오류가 발생하였다.

Could not initialize class com.thoughtworks.xstream.converters.collections.PropertiesConverter

Solve

JDK 버전이 너무 높아서 일어난 것으로 jdk-8 버전을 설치해서 깔아주도록 한다.

https://adoptium.net/ 에 접속

JRE는 실행환경만 있는거고 JDK가 개발자 도구로 모두 있음.

JDK 파일로 다운로드 받으면 된다. 나는 eclipse가 있는 경로에 풀어주었다.

요 이클립스 파일을 메모장으로 열고

해당 javaw.exe 파일의 경로를 넣어주면 된다.

오타나면 eclipse 자체가 실행이 안되므로 제대로 확인해주어야함.

메모장으로 연 ini파일을 저장해준뒤 아까 한 그대로 Legacy Project생성을 하려고 하면 정상적으로 실행된다.
