HealthSky Sieve Sedimentation Cytologic Technology (SCT) is a unique and patented cytology sample preparation technology developed by HealthSky. After the specimen is transferred to the chamber, obscuring factors such as blood and mucus are filtered out by the sieve, the inflammatory cells and other interferents are separated by density sedimentation, the relevant diagnostic cells are enriched on the slides which are specially treated. The prepared slides are featured with clean background, evenly distributed monolayer cells, and better cellular morphology.
