Overview
MultipSeq® Sample ID Research Assay is a simple, cost-efficient, and accurate human ID NGS panel designed to identify and track samples throughout the target sequencing workflow. MultipSeq® Sample ID Research Assay is a small panel with 100 high MAF SNPs, which can also be spiked into customized target sequencing panels including TargetSeq® hybridization capture panels and MultipSeq® multiplex amplicon panels. By comparing the genotyping results of these well-selected SNPs, this human ID NGS panel helps to identify samples throughout the highly complex NGS workflow and avoid costly re-runs.

According to the standard likelihood ratio evaluation, these 100 SNPs are sufficient to achieve a good identification of the whole population.

Performance
Excellent Performance
Test results of MultipSeq® Sample ID Research Assay using 3 different samples showed that the panel is excellent in data performance, and all SNPs had 100% T 30X coverage rate (3 SNPs on the Y chromosome not detected in the female sample).

Consistent Data Performance with Spike-in
Sample ID spike-in module is available and optional in panel customization. Data performance was consistent with or without the spike-in of the sample ID spike-in module in 3 different TargetSeq® panels with different panel sizes.

Consistent Genotyping Results
Genotyping results of AIExome® V2 Plus and MultipSeq® Sample ID Research Assay showed 100% consistent in genotyping results.
