Tool machinery we own
JCL tool houses are equipped with a range of machinery and equipment to handle the various stages of tool manufacturing and maintenance. Some of the common machinery includes:
CNC Machines for precision machining operations
Wire EDM Machine for precise cutting and shaping of hardened tool steel
Surface Grinder to achieve tight tolerances and smooth finishes on the surfaces of tool components,
Manual and CNC Lathes used to turn, shape, and bore cylindrical parts
Milling Machines for cutting, shaping, and drilling various materials
Other Toolroom Equipment such as drilling machines, bench grinders, belt sanders, and polishing machines for deburring, finishing, and maintaining tooling components
Types of tools we made
Progressive Die Tooling
In progressive stamping, the metal strip or sheet is continuously fed through the die, and multiple operations are performed at different stations along the feeding path. Each station only performed one forming operation at a time but continuously the metal can be entirely shaped after all stations are carried out. Progressive stamping dies offer high-volume production capabilities and are well-suited for applications that require speed and efficiency.
Benefits of Progressive Die Tools
Deep Drawing Capabilities
High-Volume Production Capability
Low Labor Cost
Decreased Downtime
Minimal Scrap
Consistent Repeatability
Transfer Die Tooling
In transfer stamping, the metal strip or sheet is transferred from one station to another, with each station performing a specific operation. A transfer press transfers the metal between stations, allowing for more complex and larger part production. Transfer Die is cutting off the blanks as the strip enters and allows more flexibility to move and form the pieces. It enables the large size parts to form in high efficiency and adjust easily by the special layout.
Single or Compound Station Die Tooling
Single or Compound Station Die Tooling is a type of stamping die that performs a single operation on a metal sheet or strip in a single stroke of the press. Unlike progressive or transfer stamping dies, which have multiple stations and perform multiple operations sequentially, a single station stamping die focuses on a specific operation at a time. Compound station is a combination of multiple actions in a tool set. This operation can be
Cutting
Bending
Forming
Piercing
Or any specific action for part shaping
Single and Compound station stamping dies are typically used for Prototyping in small-scale or low volume production, where the part design does not require multiple operations or complex forming but validate tooling concepts.
