Kelly Hyman is an extremely inspiring woman who has always been passionate about women empowerment, be it in her career as an actor or her current career as an attorney and political strategist. She was on the board of the non-profit organization ‘Dress for Success. This passion to help women comes to Kelly Hyman from her mother who raised her as a single parent, running her own business besides being a tennis instructor. She has seen her mother’s struggle closely. Her difficult childhood taught her a lot about the importance of hard work and responsibility.

According to Kelly Hyman, anything that promotes a woman’s self-worth is women's empowerment. It is the woman’s ability to make her own choices in life as well as her power to influence social change both for herself and others. She holds the idea that if women empower themselves then they have the opportunity to help the whole world recover from the aftermath of the COVID pandemic.

For this, Kelly Hyman suggests that organizations begin by gaining a better understanding of the difficulties faced by modern working women in maintain a healthy work-life balance. Doing so will help them approach other issues faced by working women like the gender pay gap,  harassment, career opportunities, concerns regarding children and career, etc in a better way.

Kelly Hyman reflects on balance and wants to build a truly balanced world. She says that you can do that by as small a step as shopping from the stores owned by women as this will ensure profitability and help them survive.
