AMF (Access and Mobility Management Function)

User Plane(Data plane, Barear Plane)

음성, 비디오 또는 웹 트래픽과 같은 장치 간 사용자 데이터 전송을 담당
사용자 트래픽의 실제 payload를 전달하느 네트워크의 일부이며 필요한 QoS 요구사항을 유지하면서 데이터가 빠르고 안정적으로 전달되도록 함

Control Plane

장치간의 통신을 설정하고 유지하는데 필요한 신호 및 제어 기능을 관리하는 역할을 함

• 연결 설정 및 해제
• 네트워크 리소스를 할당
• 네트워크 서비스 관리하기 위해 장치간 교환되는 신호 메시지 관리

user plane은 실제 데이터를 전달하는 역할을 하는 반면
control plane은 데이터 전송을 가능하게 하는 연결의 설정 및 해제를 관리하는 역할
