그럼 하지마이쒸

 애플 앱스토어의 무지막지하고 어마어마한 심사 기준은 익히 알려져 있다. 처음 앱을 배포할때는 2학기 개강 날짜 전에 출시해야 한다는 압박이 있었기 때문에 철두철미하게 확인해 심사를 넣었지만... 업데이트를 통해 너다섯번 심사를 진행한 지금 첫 리젝 통지를 받게 되었다.

지금까지의 심사 기록들

 문제가 발생한건 맨 위에 보이는 1.1.1 버전에 대한 심사 기록이다. 눈치 빠른 분들은 이게 왜 리젝이야 ?? 할 수 있겠는데...!

 내가 겪은 앱스토어에서 심사를 리젝하는 경우 대처할 수 있는 방법은 두 가지가 있었는데, 새로 심사 버전을 만들어 제출하는 방법 (앱 빌드 파일을 수정해야 하는 경우) 그리고 회신을 통해 문제를 해결해 제출하는 방법 (앱스토어 앱 설명 정보에 문제가 있는 경우) 이었다.
이번 리젝은 두번째 경우에 해당됐다.

왜 리젝이냐!

애플 : Hello,
Thank you for providing this information.
Upon further review, we found that your submission does not comply with the following guidelines:

Guideline 2.3.12 - Performance - Accurate Metadata
We noticed you have included nondescript, temporary, or incomplete information in your app’s “What’s New” text.
The “What’s New” text should inform users what has changed in your app since the last update. This includes new features and product changes, but also bug fixes, security updates, and performance improvements. 

Next Steps
To resolve this issue, please revise your app’s “What’s New” text to include clear descriptions of any significant changes, including new features or product changes.
If your update simply addresses bug fixes, security, or other performance updates, stating so generically in your app’s “What’s New” text is sufficient. For example, “Bug fixes and performance improvements” would be appropriate in that case.

가이드라인 2.3.12 Performance: Accurate Metadata 를 만족하지 못했다고 하는데... 앱스토어 설명란의 What's New ( 한국어로는 '새로운 기능') 란에 해피 할로윈~! 이라고만 적어둔게 문제였다. 그래서 물어봤다.

나 : Hello. Thanks for notifying.

I have changed 'What's New' text as 
해피 할로윈~!
학기 주차가 표시되지 않는 문제를 수정했어요.
which includes the content of fixed bug on this version.

I wonder if I should make a new submission.

메시지 바꿔놨다... 새로 제출해야하냐...?
심사 세션이 유지되고 있는 상태에서는 심사 대기를 거치지 않고 바로 심사에 들어가지만, 새로 심사를 제출하게 되면 심사 대기부터 시작해야해서 같은 세션안에 끝내고 싶었다.

새로 제출 할 필요없이 심사 봐줬고, 한시간 후에 잘 통과됐다.

결론

• 앱스토어 메타데이터에 좀 틀린 내용 있어도 말로 수정해서 같은 심사 세션 안에 끝낼 수 있다.
• 로그인이 필요한 앱일 경우 demo 계정의 정보가 틀려도 말로 회신해서 재심사 안받고 진행할 수 있다.
• 한 세션 안에 끝내자...
• 쫄지 말자! 12만 얼마 냈으니까
