If you are using the Lenovo ideapad z50 or older version, which uses the USB Charger. Many times, it will short the DC connector itself. That’s all because the it’s DC connector couldn’t handle the power coming from the charger.

  1. First of all, you need to shut down the computer.
  2. Remove the charging adapter from the computer.
  3. Unlock the battery and remove it carefully.
  4. Now unscrew the laptop’s back panel.
  5. Unplug all connectors from the motherboard.
  6. Now remove the processor fan, and then take out the front panel genetly, which has keyboard, and touch pad.
  7. Now do the soldering on the DC connectors wire, which has been disconnected.
