Website is just text.
This text composes of 2~3 types of text(a.k.a. languages).

HTML

(HTML isn't acutally a language tho)
"Hyper Text Markup Language"

When you look at a website, you simply see "content". Which means title, text, and images.

The browser(Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, etc...) is stupid. It does not interpret human languages. They do not understand our content.

Which means we, as humans, have to tell the browser what the content is. "This is a title." "This is a date." "This is a image, and this image has a description." "This is a title, and beneath it, there is a link group."

This is what we do with HTML: explain our content structure to the browser.

CSS

(HTML isn't acutally a language also)
Cascading Style Sheets

CSS should be used alongside HTML. We never CSS only or HTML only; we use them together.

CSS tells the browser how our website looks like. HTML tells the content, and CSS tells how does that content look like.

HTML : 🗣️ "This is a Title."
CSS : 🗣️ "The Title should be green."

HTML : 🗣️ "That's an image."
CSS : 🗣️ "The image should be 25px X 100px."

❓궁금증: "Title" "Link Group"도 그 자체로 이미 디자인이 있는 거 아닌가? CSS 없이 HTML로만 작성했을 때 디자인적인 차이가 존재하잔슴

Javascript

The only programming language

You can have a skeleton, you can have muscles,
but if you do not have a brain, nothing will move.

The same goes for websites.
Javascript is the brain of websites.

Some websites need to be smart; they have to be interactive. The New York Times may not have to be smart; we just need plain text. But Youtube Music, it should move. "You click, andsomething happens."
