I traveled to Germany and England for two weeks, and now it's time to reflect on the trip. At first, I thought the new environments wouldn’t affect me because I felt the same as usual. For a while, it seemed like I hadn’t gained much from the experience. However, I soon realized that I don’t really enjoy big cities, whether while traveling or in everyday life; they are too time-consuming to navigate and feel overly crowded.
In contrast, I found places like Brighton, Heidelberg, and Potsdam to be wonderful. They made me feel peaceful and relaxed. I also discovered that I don’t enjoy long periods of rest. At times, I had the urge to create something or work on a project.
Through this trip, I became more aware of what I dislike and what I enjoy. For instance, I prefer small cities because they are compact, and exploring them is very time-efficient, which I really appreciate. I also enjoy interacting with others. Some of my favorite experiences were having conversations with people in cozy, intimate cafés.
This trip also made me think about my future and what I want to do. I know I want to engage in creative work and continue learning. As a short-term goal, I plan to create a text-based game and keep studying the JVM. Someday, I also want to write a more modern, interactive story that fosters better understanding and empathy between people. I hope to create a society where we connect with one another more deeply through storytelling.
