All airlines are subject to Volaris 24-hour cancellation policy. However, Volaris is exceptional in that it does not follow such a policy. The airline can only cancel the flight one month before the scheduled departure time. Also, Volaris cancellations will not be refunded.
What are the conditions for canceling a Volaris flight reservation?
Flight reservations on Volaris can be canceled at least 2 hours before the scheduled departure time. The payment or not of the cancellation fee depends on the following Volaris Airlines cancellation policy.
If you cancel your ticket reservation within 7 days of purchasing your ticket, you do not have to pay the cancellation fee. The total amount will be reimbursed to the bank in advance.
Cancellation fees may apply if you cancel your flight within 24 hours of booking, or if you book your flight within 7 days of the scheduled departure date.
You cannot cancel your flight within 120 minutes of the scheduled departure date. No returns will be made without a passenger demonstration.
