2. Part 1: 문장 읽기

  • 끊어 읽는 기준은 전치사 앞, and/or, 쉼표, 마침표
  • 주변 소음 때문에 페이스가 흔들리지 않게 손가락으로 화면을 짚어가며 천천히 크게 읽기
  • 문장이 넘어갈 때 호흡을 의식적으로 조절하기
  • 발음은 너무 소극적으로 읽지 말고, 입을 크게 써서 또렷하게 읽기

3. Part 2: 사진 묘사

기본 흐름

  1. 장소와 실내/실외를 먼저 말한다.
  2. 가장 먼저 보이는 대상 하나를 잡는다.
  3. 전경, 중앙, 좌우, 배경 순서로 시선을 이동한다.
  4. 사람은 위치, 외모, 옷, 동작 순서로 묘사한다.
  5. 마지막에 전체 분위기를 한 문장으로 마무리한다.

시작 템플릿

  • The picture was taken at [장소], indoors/outdoors.
  • The first thing I can see from the picture is [가장 눈에 띄는 것].

위치 표현

  • In the foreground of the picture, there are [사람/사물].

Part 2 문법 체크

  • 도입부는 This is a picture...로 시작
  • 장소 앞에는 관사 넣기: a cafe, a park, an electronics store
  • 사진 묘사는 현재 진행형 위주: is looking, is writing, is making
  • 옷은 wearing, 손에 들고 있으면 holding
  • 한 명이면 a man, a woman, 여러 명이면 men, women, people
  • people에는 s를 붙이지 않음
  • a couple is, The rest of them are
  • seems comfortable는 가능하지만 seems like comfortable는 비문

4. Part 3: 질의응답

기본 원칙

  • 의문사를 평문으로 바꿔 답한다.
  • 답이 짧으면 만능 문장 한 개를 바로 붙인다.
  • 이유가 안 떠오르면 경험담으로 시간을 벌고 마지막에 이유를 수습한다.

다음에 and, so, because로 한 문장 더 붙인다.

자주 쓰는 빈도 표현

  • twice a week
  • almost every day
  • once in a while

빈도(얼마나 자주 하는지)를 말할 때는 딱 두 가지만 기억하면 됩니다. '횟수'를 직접 말하거나, '얼마나 자주(부사)'인지를 말하는 거예요.


1. 횟수 직접 말하기 (~번에 ~회)

once a day [하루에 한번]

가장 많이 쓰이는 패턴은 [횟수] + [a/per] + [기간] 입니다.

  • 한 번: once
  • 두 번: twice
  • 세 번부터: three times, four times ...
  • 매일: every day
  • 이틀에 한 번(격일): every other day

전치사

  • 시간 표현
    • On + 날짜/요일 (예: On May 5th, On Monday)
    • At + 구체적인 시각 (예: At 10:00 am)
    • In + 월/계절 (예: In May, In Summer)
    • From A to B: A부터 B까지 (시간의 범위)
    • On May 5th = 한칸을 가르킬수 있음 (5월 5일) = On
    • In May = 5월 전체니까 넓은 범위 = In

  • 장소 표현
    • At + 지점/특정 장소 (예: At the lobby)
    • In + 실내 장소/도시/나라 (예: In Conference Room 3C, In Seoul)
    • On + 층/거리명/교통편 (예: On the 3rd floor, On Main Street, On the bus)

  • 관계 및 소속
    • By + 사람: 주최자, 강사, 진행자
    • With + 사람: 참여자, 인터뷰 대상자
    • On / About + 주제: ~에 관한 (강연, 워크숍 등)
    • From + 소속: ~ 출신의, ~ 소속의
    • As a / an + 직책: ~로서, ~로 근무함

7번-9번 문제: 정보 정정

  • No. sorry that's not right. Actually, [맞는 정보].

10번 문제: 중복 세션/항목 설명

풀이 팁

  • 표 유형부터 먼저 본다: 행사, 개인 일정, 인터뷰, 강의, 출시 일정
  • 장소, 날짜, 시간, 요금, 취소 여부를 먼저 체크한다.
  • 같은 조건의 항목이 2개 겹치면 10번에서 물어볼 확률이 높다.

6. Part 5: 의견 제시

바로 쓰는 연결 표현

  • Let me explain why I think so

Part 5 안전 템플릿

영작 원칙

  • 어려운 단어보다 can, help, have to, look at, there are, 같은 쉬운 표현을 우선 사용
  • The quality is 굿. 대신 It's more reliable. 또는 It has great facilities.처럼 자연스럽게 말하기

7. 자주 틀리는 문법

  • 조동사 뒤에는 동사원형: could go, can play
  • 동명사 주어는 단수 취급: Taking classes saves time.
  • 실수는 make mistakes
  • 비교는 better than
  • 철자: studied, everywhere
  • last year 앞에는 the를 붙이지 않음
  • studying alone, in a group, in offline classes, focus on a project
  • work는 보통 셀 수 없으니 필요하면 projects, tasks
  • share it with my friend, tell me
  • 상태 설명에는 be동사 필요: This was very funny.
  • go shopping, go swimming, go hiking
  • 목적을 말할 때만 go to + 동사원형: I went to buy a TV.
  • go to shopping은 틀린 표현
  • a man / two men, a woman / two women, people are
  • with blond hair가 having blond hair보다 자연스러움 정 안되면 a woman has blond hair로 따로 빼서 설명
  • 가만히 들고 있으면 holding, 어디론가 가져가는 동작이면 taking

8. 한 줄 운영법

  • Part 2는 구도 순서대로 말하기
  • Part 3는 의문사 평문화 + 만능 문장 붙이기
  • Part 4는 전치사와 표 구조 먼저 보기
  • Part 5는 템플릿에 이유와 경험만 끼워 넣기
