로그인 필터 직렬화 문제

문제상황 - 1

로그인이 안된 상태에서 API 호출 시 로그인 필터를 통해 ErrorResponse 객체를 반환한다.
하지만 해당 응답 객체에서 LocalDateTime 직렬화 오류가 발생하였다.

• 에러메세지

문제 발생 코드

• LoginFilter 내부

응답에 ErrorResponse 객체를 담고 싶어 ObjectMapper 를 생성했다.

• ErrorResponse

ErroResponse 의 timestamp 필드는 LocalDateTime.now() 를 통해 초기화된다.

문제 원인

LocalDateTime 타입은 Jackson 기본 설정에선 직렬화가 불가능하여 jackson-datatype-jsr310 모듈을 반드시 등록해줘야 한다.
기본적으로 Spring Boot는 ObjectMapper에 해당 모듈을 포함하여 관리하기에 문제가 발생하지 않지만 new ObjectMapper()로 직접 생성한 인스턴스에는 스프링 설정이 반영되지 않아 해당 모듈이 자동으로 등록되지 않는다.

JavaTimeModule 을 직접 등록해주면 LocalDateTime 직렬화 에러는 해결된다.

문제상황 - 2: 날짜 포맷이 배열로 출력

문제는 해결됐지만 timestamp가 내가 원하는 ISO-8601 포맷이 아닌 배열 형태로 출력된다.

해결 방법

ob.registerModule(new JavaTimeModule());
ob.disable(SerializationFeature.WRITE_DATES_AS_TIMESTAMPS);

WRITE_DATES_AS_TIMESTAMPS가 활성화돼 있으면 배열 형태로 JSON에 표현된다.
따라서 해당 설정을 끄면 일반적인 날짜 포맷으로 나오게 할 수 있다.

마치며

처음 이 문제가 발생했을 때 ErrorResponse를 사용하지 않고 단순히 예외만 발생시키는 방법도 고려했지만
공통적인 응답 포맷을 유지하는 것이 더 나은 방향이라고 판단했다.
결국 구조를 크게 변경하지 않고 Jackson 설정만으로 문제를 해결할 수 있어 다행이었다.
