1. Open your web browser and go to the American Airlines official website.
2. Press the My Trips tab available on the menu bar.
3. Now, fill in the first and last name of the passenger.
4. In the next step, enter the booking confirmation number. This confirmation number is a six-characters (alphabets or digits) code. It is also known as Record Locator. In case you do not recall it, you can find it in the mail regarding the flight confirmation from American Airlines.
5. Now, you can see three options available on the toolbar. These options are: Change trip, Cancel trip, and Change seat.
6. If you want to make a change to your fight reservation, select the change trip option. If you want to cancel your flight bookings, click on the cancel trip button.

Whatever option you choose, you will get a flight change or cancellation confirmation mail on your registered email ID.
