Course Structure

This is the first course out of five in the specialization. The aim is to establish the fundamental building blocks of deep learning. By the end, you'll be adept at building and running a deep neural network.

Week-by-Week Breakdown

1. Week 1: Introduction to Deep Learning

   • A high-level understanding of deep learning's significance.

2. Week 2: Basics of Neural Network Programming

   • Understanding forward and back propagation steps.
   • Implement neural networks efficiently.
   • A hands-on programming exercise to apply the knowledge.

3. Week 3: Shallow Neural Networks

   • Learn and implement a neural network with a single hidden layer.

4. Week 4: Deep Neural Networks

   • Construct and run a neural network with multiple layers.
