South Korea has been plunged into political crisis after the sudden imposition of martial law by President Yun Seok Yul.
He accused the opposition of being criminals and anti-state forces.
But opposition MPs who control parliament defied the President and voted to block the move.
South Korea's Miltary says martial law will remain in place until lifted by the President.
