두 단어는 활용도가 매우 높지만 헷갈리고 발음이 어려워 기피되는 편이다.

단어는 문장 속에서 문맥을 통해 느낌을 이해해야 한다. 고정된 뜻으로 외우려 하지 않도록 한다.

constant(ly)

: 계속, 수시로, 끊임없이 (빈도 느낌?)

The forecast is kind of meaningless in that country because the weather is constantly changing.

She is constantly late to work.

We constantly have arguments.

consistent(ly)

: 꾸준히, 일정하게. (간격 느낌?)

일정량 / 일정 간격으로 / 일정 시간을 투자한 느낌이 있음.

규칙적인 느낌도 가지고 있음.

We have been collaborating quite consistently over the past several months

Sales have been dropping quite consistently over the past couple of years.

Sales have been quite consistent over the past couple of years.
