For Week #3 of SpartaCodingClub's Game Development class, I learned how to make a 2D shooter type game featuring a shopkeeper dog and a hungry horde of cats.
Unlike the previous games, I learned how to make the transition from a title screen to the main game level. Some other things I also learned include:
How to make the dog character shoot projectiles while following my cursor but only on the x-axis.
How to make the "enemy" cats spawn (only to leave when their hp bar shows they were fed enough).
How to make a steadily increasing difficulty system which spawns different types of cats with varying qualities at different levels.
And even how to reset the game to try again whilst fixing any bugs in the process.
