I discussed SAP, a software that helps companies manage their overall operations through ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems. SAP offers a wide range of functions, and companies can adopt only the parts that suit their specific needs. In fact, SAP is structured as a modular software, meaning each function is separated into modules.
This allows companies to choose and implement only the functionalities they require. For example, if Company A wants to digitize its financial management, it can adopt only the FI (Financial Accounting) module of SAP S/4HANA, without using the entire suite.
Starting today, I’d like to introduce the key functionalities of SAP. In upcoming posts, I’ll dive deeper into each solution area one by one. As you may know, SAP has transitioned from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, a cloud-based ERP platform. This shift means companies no longer need to build fully customized systems from scratch.
