I want to take a closer look at the company I'll be appling to for an internship program. It's really similar to what I just discussed.
First, the name of the company is TVINN. I'm not sure how to say this exactly, but it's clear that this company is going to change the landscape of manufacturing planning systems. They have been developing Production Planning Sowtware (PPS / APS), solving the existing inefficient Excel-based production planning problems using Digital Supply Chain Twin(DSCT) technology.
1. Why
As I mentioned above, using Excel workarounds and traditional MRP systems has been inefficient and limited, since it's difficult to store and interpret data properly.
2. What
Most companies use SAP MRP or ERP systems like S/4HANA for their production planning. However, these systems are complex and make data- based-decision-making difficult. As a result, plaaners still rely on Excel. This leads to increased inventory, missed delivery deadlines and resource waste.
3. How
So, TVINN developed PPS / APS software based on DSCT.

They're still developing the solution. By enabling data-driven simulation and real-time decision-making, they are unlocking new possibilities in supply chain optimization through digital twin technology. Ultimately, TVINN is not just improving production planning tools — they are reshaping the entire planning paradigm.
