안녕하세요! 현재 프론트엔드 공부에 몰두하고 있는 Tim입니다😀

현재 한국외국어대학교 EICC학과(영어통번역학과)를 재학중이었지만 군휴학을 때리고 공군으로 군복무를 하고있습니다. 3살의 나이 때 캐나다로 유학을 가서 약 10년을 거주하고 다시 귀국을 했습니다. 물론 귀국하기 전에 세계 여행을 했으며, 이 시기에 살면서 다시는 못 가볼 나라들(아이스랜드, 모로코, 쿠바 등등)을 여행했습니다. 고등학교는 대일외국어 고등학교 영어과를 졸업했으며 대학에서는 영어통번역학을 전공하고 있습니다.

개발에 관심을 갖게된 건 스타트업에서 일을 했을 때부터 입니다. 개발팀과 대화를 많이 주고받다 보니 자연스럽게 (그때 당시에는 생소했던) "프로그래밍"에 대해서 알게 되었으며, 특히 프론트 웹 개발에 관심을 갖게 되었습니다.

퇴사하고 지금까지 웹 개발에 몰두하고 있으며, velog에 제가 공부하고 배운 것들을 기록할 예정입니다.

대부분의 글을 영어로 작성할 계획입니다. 영어에 익숙했던 저는 HTML, CSS, JS를 모두 영어로 배우기 시작했기 때문에 영어로 배우고 기록하는 것이 훨씬 편하기 때문입니다.

Hello, I'm Tim and I'm studying frontend web dev.

I'm majoring in English-Korean Translation/Interpretation studies at HUFS(Hankuk University of Foreign Studies). Living in Canada for about 10 years(went there when I was 3 years old), English became second-nature for me which would eventually help me in my web dev studies.

My initial interest in FE development can be traced back to when I was working at a startup company. Communicating with the Dev team made me start studying this field (my first language was Python, although it didn't go so well for me). I'm currently doing my military service in the Republic of Korea Air Force(ROKAF).

I'm planning to write most of my blog posts in English.
