Coders
- Anyone who can write some code
- They are often beginners in the field, skilled in just one coding language.
- It can be interchanged with “Junior Programmer” or “Junior Developer.”
Developers and Programmers
- These two titles are used interchangeably.
- More experienced code writers
- Skilled in at least two to three languages
- Write clean, error free codes
- Apply their algorithmic knowledge
- Responsible for the overall design of the application
Conclusion
The difference lies in their responsibilities and roles.
I am sure I am a coder now, but I should try to become a developer.
By doing so, I could gain the following abilities.
- More experiences in coding skill
- Overseeing the overall design of the application
- Exploring another languages
- Studying more algorithms
