“How would you improve your favorite product?”

first paragraph

• favorite product - cars, iphone, and so on.
• set off : start
• trajectory : 탄도
  • 탄도:총포로부터 발사된 탄환, 로켓 등의 비상체가 날아가면서 그리는 궤도

• crickets : 적막, 조용함
  The suspect consistently answered questions with crickets.

  As with many other interview techniques however, the issue with these answers is they jump straight to addressing solutions and completely forget about the problem they’re trying to solve.

하지만, 대부분의 디자이너들은 해결방법에 바로 뛰어들어
제품의 문제(질문의도)를 잊어버린다

thirid paragraph : Why the Ideal Answer is Ideal

제품에 대해서 부터 시작한면 안되고 제품의 문제부터 생각해야 한다.
모든 제품은 사람들이 가진 문제를 해결하지만,
모든 해결책이 제품을 필요로 하진 않는다.

즉, 제품을 분석하는 것이 아니라, 문제를 분석해라!

Many designers forget — all products are solutions to problems that people have. However, not all solutions need to be products.
