[GitHub] 토큰 인증 로그인 (Mac) : Personal Access Token

에러발생

git 관리를 위해 gitbash나 sourcetree에 로그인 할때 인증에 대한 에러가 발생하기 시작했다. 처음에는 단순히 비밀번호나 사용자 이름이 틀려서 그런줄 알았다. 에러를 검색하고 살펴보면서 github에서 2021년 8월 13일부터 인증을 ID/PW 방식이 아닌 ID/Token방식으로 변경했다는 정책을 발견하였다.

영향을 받는 영역

• gitbash와 같은 명령줄을 활용한 git 접근
• git을 사용하는 Desktop Application ex) SourceTree
• 암호를 사용하여 GitHub.com의 Git 리포지토리에 직접 액세스하는 모든 앱/서비스

해결방법

personal access tokens은 링크 를 통해 token을 받을수 있다.

1. application에서 키체인 접근 을 검색한다.
   

2. 검색창에 github을 검색한다.
   

3. 더블클릭을 통해 암호를 변경한다.
   

다시 에러가 발생했던 작업을 실행하면 문제없이 수행되는 것을 볼 수 있다. 😚
