There are only so many hours in a day

I got my own problems. There's only so much I can do for him.

She's almost 90 years old. She can only do so much on her own now.
(There's a limit to how much she can do on her own now)

They're just second graders. They can only focus for so long at a time.

Who do I look like? Spiderman? I can only do so many things at the same time.

He's running multiple companies at the same time and he's constantly in the public eye. He can only keep so many people happy.

I know he's your son and you're just looking out for him, but he's a grown-up now. You can only be so involved in his life.

I know how you feel, but the world is changing so fast and they come from a different time. They can only be so understanding.

You can only gain so much confidence and feel for this expression just from my examples and my explanation.
