브라우저 CSS 스타일 초기화

브라우저마다 조금씩 다른 기본 스타일값을 가지고 있습니다. 제작시 모든 브라우저에 동일하게 적용하기 위해서는 초기화 작업이 필요합니다. 초기화 작업은 브라우저를 직접 확인하면서 수정하기에는 시간이 많이 걸리기 때문에 주로 초기화 코드를 가져와서 사용합니다.

많이 쓰는 초기화코드는 Eric Meyer’s Reset 과 Normalize.css 가 있습니다. 두개의 차이는 에릭이 비교적 초기화 과정기 간단하게 되어 있고 노멀라이즈는 디테일하게 초기화되어 있습니다.

CSS 전체 선택자( * , Universal Selector)

간단하게 만드는 개인 사이트경우 CSS 전체 선택자(*, Universal Selector)를 사용합니다.

*{box-sizing: border-box;} 처럼 간단한 속성을 적용하는 경우 실제 브라우저 로딩 속도에 영향을 미치지 않지만, 서버와 사이트 접속자의 물리적 거리가 수천에서 수만 킬로미터 이상 떨어져 있고 전체 선택자에 과도한 속성을 적용할 경우 로딩 속도에 영향을 미칠 수도 있습니다. 허나 일반적으로 크게 차이는 없다고 합니다.
